Disclaimer

Plain language, because a disclaimer written to be skimmed past is not really a disclaimer. This page is part of the method, not the fine print at the bottom of it.

01

This is not medical care

Dr. Kwon Yonghyun holds a medical qualification. Nothing offered through MahKha is the practice of medicine. No session, course, or piece of writing here diagnoses a condition, treats a disease, prescribes anything, or forms a doctor–patient relationship with you. His medical training informs the standard of evidence applied to this work; it does not convert this work into medical treatment.

02

Do not delay or replace treatment

If you have or suspect a medical or psychiatric condition, consult a qualified professional licensed where you live. Never stop, reduce, or postpone prescribed treatment because of anything encountered here. If a session raises something that needs medical attention, you will be told to seek it.

03

Emergencies

This site and its inboxes are not monitored for emergencies. If you are in crisis, having thoughts of harming yourself, or acutely unwell, contact your local emergency number or a crisis service immediately.

04

What the evidence levels mean

Claims across this site are marked Established, Emerging, or Observation. Established means peer-reviewed and replicated. Emerging means published and genuinely unsettled. Observation means it comes from practice or from a traditional framework and has not been demonstrated scientifically. These labels are a good-faith description of the state of the evidence, not a guarantee of outcome at any level.

05

Client accounts

Accounts published on this site are individual experiences, shared with written consent and dated. They are not evidence, they are not typical, and they should not be read as a prediction of what any practice will do for you.

06

Breath practices carry real risk

Breathwork is generally safe and is not risk-free. Do not practise breath retention in or near water. If you are pregnant, or have a cardiovascular, respiratory, or seizure condition, or a history of panic attacks, consult your own physician before beginning any practice taught here.

07

Distance work

Distance energy sessions are offered as complementary practice. There is no claim that they act on any disease process, and the written account you receive afterward is a record of the practitioner's observations — not a diagnostic finding.

08

What is not offered here

No fortune telling, and no prediction of your future. No relationship counseling, and no reading of your relationships. No reading of any person who has not asked for it themselves — not a partner, not a family member, not someone you are concerned about. Anyone offering those things is not doing so on behalf of this practice.

09

You ask for yourself

Counseling and readings are requested by the person they concern. The one exception is someone who genuinely cannot ask — a client in a coma, or otherwise unable to speak for themselves — where the request properly comes from whoever is responsible for their care. A request about a third party who is capable of asking will be declined, and no reading of them will be given.

10

Your information

Intake responses and messages are treated as confidential and are never sold or shared for marketing. Please do not send full medical records through the contact form; a proper intake exists for sessions that go ahead. What is recorded, who can read it, and what is deliberately not recorded is set out in full on the privacy page.

This page will be reviewed by a lawyer before any payment is taken through this site, and updated where that review requires it.
